The feast famine cycle with freelancers is a REAL problem. Being a beginner freelancer I never know how to balance between too much work and too little work. It's also hard to find work that I enjoy. I'm always laggard on my marketing skills as a freelancer. And finally but not least, the process is so stressful and uncertain if you have minimal experience.

So I went ahead and interviewed 10 freelance pros that I really liked. Here's what they had to say

TLDR: In summary, as an amateur freelancer the best thing you can do to get better clients is niche down to a very specific skillset, demonstrate your expertise, cherish your network, and maintain the relationships in them and you'll end up finding work that you'll enjoy doing.

if people struggle to find clients, is because they not promoting is a simple thing, most people join a platform place 1 gig to try it out and do NOTHING they expect the platform will do it for them, plain dumb, promote on social media, if they have an affiliate program earn even more from it, and place ALL your gigs not just 1, 1 between 100's or 1000's you think they find you? why should they choose you, did you make a profile? uploaded an avatar etc. most of them are lazy and complain, while it is their own laziness that kill them
