Hey everyone! I'm Heidi, I'm 28 and I've never had a "real" job in my life.

Maybe that's not the best way to introduce myself. :P What I mean is, I've always only ever done some form of freelancing for work. I didn't really have a word for it at the time, though. I did lots of odd jobs as a teenager, then was struck by severe chronic illness at age 16 leaving me unable to walk, hold a conversation, or care for myself. It's only been in the past year or so I've recovered enough to begin earning money, contributing to society, and generally making my way in this world.

My progress is sometimes embarrassingly slow, as I'm still juggling unpredictable health and ER visits and tons of medical appointments. But I'm getting there. :)

I do a bit of everything at the moment, just trying to find where I fit best. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
