Hi. I am interested in all things related to the contingent workforce - mostly in the areas of safety net, support, low cost benefits, etc. Like, if you were concerned about health protection, which is more important to you. Coverage for catastrophies like cancer or heart problems? or everyday health needs like a bad case of the flu? And, if it is everyday stuff, would you trust or use a virtual doctor (over the phone or a mobile/pc based app?

more like you have a sore throat and flu symptoms, don't want to get off the couch, if you have insurance, you're likely not close to using the deductible - if you don't have insurance the visit costs a bunch of money (get whacked whether you have insurance or not) so you go to your virtual doc app and request and appointment and in a few minutes a real doc face-times you, you chat, show him your throat, and he calls a script into your pharmacy...and since you have the app there is no charge for the call...real advice, not free.
